Marypierre Julien, a highly acclaimed perfumer, grew up in the south of France, where the enchanting scent of lavender ignited her passion for perfumery. Drawn to the world of fragrance, she pursued formal training in the craft and graduated from the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school in 1997. Under the guidance of renowned perfumers Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Bertrand Duchaufour at Symrise/Florasynth, Julien honed her skills before joining Takasago.

In 1998, Marypierre Julien joined the Quest team, which was later acquired by Givaudan, a global leader in fragrance creation. There, she worked in both England and France, developing her talent and honing her craft. Today, she holds the position of Senior Perfumer at Givaudan, where she has worked on iconic fragrances for leading brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Calvin Klein , and Victoria's Secret.

With a career spanning over twenty years, Julien has collaborated with an impressive array of brands, including Anthropologie, Artistry, Brooks Brothers, Chloé, Christian Audigier, Gap, Giorgio Armani , Happ & Stahns, Ivanka Trump, Jessica Simpson, Kate Walsh, L'Occitane en Provence, Lancôme, O Boticário, pH Fragrances, Rihanna, Rubeus Milano, Six Scents and Victoria's Secret.

Her most popular creations include Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur, Rebelle and Reb'l Fleur Love Always, Giorgio Armani's Ocean di Gioia, Calvin Klein's Reveal Men, Kate Walsh's Boyfriend, Elizabeth Arden's 5th Avenue Nights and Jessica Simpson's Signature.

Marypierre Julien's unique approach to perfume creation revolves around her desire to evoke olfactory emotions reminiscent of her childhood memories in the South of France. Inspired by the sun-drenched landscapes and aromatic lavender fields of Provence, she masterfully combines sunny and luminous ingredients with unexpected elements to create enchanting and evocative fragrances.

One of her most remarkable creations, Ithaque for Memo Paris, serves as an excellent example of her talent for incorporating the essence of her first olfactory experiences into her work.
