Fabrice Pellegrin

Born and raised in Grasse, France, Fabrice Pellegrin has perfumery in his blood. He comes from a family of perfumers, jasmine pickers and natural purveyors. His passion for perfumery is deeply rooted in the community and landscape of Grasse. In his words, “The people of Grasse keep their knowledge preciously hidden, but when they reveal it, they give it over completely.”

Fabrice began his career at Robertet and Mane, where he created iconic fragrances for prestigious brands such as Thierry Mugler , Diptyque, l'Occitane and Hermès . He later joined Firmenich in 2008, where his success story continued with brands such as L'Oréal, Clarins, Coty and Puig. He has also collaborated with numerous exclusive niche brands such as Armani Privé, By Kilian , Jo Malone, Courrège, Reminiscence, L'Artisan Parfumeur and Dear Rose.

Fabrice's expertise is not limited to his creative talent, but also his mastery of natural ingredients and passion for Grasse's perfumery heritage. He has been involved in the development of natural products for over 15 years, dividing his time between Paris and the research laboratories in Grasse. In his words: "Perfumery is constantly redesigning, rewriting and setting trends."

Fabrice is a generous teacher who believes in passing on his expertise to future generations. He believes that "It is important that we share our knowledge by exchanging ideas and being open. No one has the monopoly on the truth."

Despite his success and recognition in the industry, Fabrice remains grounded and connected to his clients. He nurtures contact with them and many of them call him their “lucky star.” Fabrice believes that “in our business, fate really plays a role. It determines when we create something new and plays a role in our timing, whether it’s too early, too late or just right.”

Fabrice’s work speaks for itself, as his outstanding creativity and signature have contributed to the success of numerous signature fragrances. In 2017, he was honored with the annual Oscar from the French trade magazine Cosmétique Mag and named “Perfumer of the Year”. Fabrice’s passion for perfumery, mastery of natural ingredients and dedication to passing on his knowledge make him a true inspiration in the industry.
