Sidonie Lancesseur, a talented and successful perfumer, discovered her passion for fragrances at a young age. As a child, she was fascinated by the scents of the French countryside during family vacations. At the age of 12, an encounter with a family friend who worked in the perfume industry ignited her desire to express herself through scent. Lancesseur followed her dream by studying at the prestigious ISIPCA (Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire) in France.

After completing her studies, Lancesseur began her career at Robertet, a leading company in the field of fragrances and flavors. She was mentored by renowned perfumer Michel Almairac, who shared his extensive knowledge and expertise with her. Throughout her career, Lancesseur has collaborated with many prestigious brands, such as Atelier Oblique, Azzaro, Bentley and By Kilian.

Sidonie Lancesseur is known for her elegantly simple, naturally inspired fragrances, which have garnered critical and consumer praise. Her most notable creations include By Kilian's Straight to Heaven, Frapin's 1270 and L'humaniste, and Olfactive Studio's Lumiere Blanche.

Lancesseur’s approach to perfume creation is deeply rooted in her childhood experiences and her love of nature. She has a strong affinity for woody scents such as patchouli and vetiver, which evoke memories of her time in the French countryside. Working with Robertet has also allowed her to explore other high-quality raw materials, such as rose.

In her own words, Sidonie Lancesseur has always associated a scent with a place, a person or a happy moment. Materializing emotions and memories through scent is an obsession for her, and her creations often reflect her personal experiences and emotions. Sidonie credits her mentor, Michel Almairac, with inspiring her preference for short formulations.
