Jean-Pierre Bethouart is a renowned perfumer who has worked with some of the most iconic fragrance brands in the world. Born in Picardy, France, he originally studied chemistry before discovering his passion for perfumery. He began his career at Givaudan in 1981 and worked there until 1987. Since then, he has been a senior perfumer at Firmenich, one of the world's leading fragrance houses.

Throughout his career, Jean-Pierre Bethouart has created a wide range of fragrances for both men and women. His portfolio includes perfumes for Adidas, Armand Basi, Boucheron, Burberry, Cacharel, Caron, Celine Dion, Cerruti, Dior, Escada, Fendi, Givenchy, Grès, Louis Féraud, NafNaf, Paul Smith, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sonia Rykiel, Swarovski, Versace and Yohji Yamamoto, among others.
