Dora Baghriche

Born into a family with a rich culinary heritage, Dora Baghriche traces her passion for fragrances back to her childhood. Growing up with two grandmothers who were pastry chefs, Dora’s earliest olfactory memories were filled with the seductive aromas of cinnamon, almonds and pine nut cream. These formative experiences laid the foundation for her future career in perfumery.

Dora trained at the prestigious Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire (ISIPCA), where she refined her skills and knowledge in the world of perfumery. Before discovering her true calling in the fragrance industry, Dora worked as a journalist.

Dora Baghriche began her illustrious career as a perfumer at Firmenich, one of the world’s leading fragrance companies. Her exceptional talent for capturing the essence of life through scent has earned her a reputation as one of the most sought-after perfumers in the industry. Dora’s portfolio includes an impressive list of creations, including Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris, Glossier You, Versace Vanitas, Paco Rabanne Fame, Cacharel Anais Anais Premier Delice, Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Intensement, L’Artisan Parfumeur Caligna and Olfactive Studio Still Life.

Dora approaches the art of perfume creation as a solitary, introspective process. Inspired by her career as a journalist, she records her thoughts and ideas in a diary, describing the scents she imagines with literary flair. This method allows her to channel her diverse experiences, such as her travels to the Mediterranean, Asia and New York, as well as her deep connection to Italian culture, into her fragrances.

For Dora Baghriche, the world is a treasure trove of inspiration. From her childhood memories of her grandmothers’ kitchens to her world travels, every experience is a muse for her perfume creations. She believes her art imitates her life and says: “I am inspired by everything!”
