Clement Gavarry

Clement Gavarry is a highly skilled and respected perfumer with a passion for creating innovative and captivating fragrances. Born in Paris, he inherited his family’s perfumery legacy as the fourth generation to work in fragrance creation. His father, the famous perfumer Max Gavarry, introduced him to the world of fragrances by immersing him in the scents of the forest and the sea.

Clement pursued his passion for perfumery by earning a Masters degree and a Diploma in Organic Chemistry from ISIPCA in Versailles, France. He then moved to New York in his early 20s, which he describes as “one big experiment”, with a constant sense of novelty and energy that he loves.

Throughout his career, Clement has collaborated with some of the most prestigious perfume houses in the world, including Firmenich and IFF. He has also worked with renowned brands such as Dolce & Gabbana , Vera Wang, Roberto Cavalli and Sarah Jessica Parker, to name a few.

Clement’s approach to perfumery is meticulous and detail-oriented, taking the time to truly understand his formulas before creating the perfect balance. He believes a fragrance should be an adventure that excites the senses and transports people to another place or time.
